It was performed at
The Depot in

Eleemosynary {adjective}
1. of or pertaining to alms; charitable.
Eleemosynary is a play that explores relationships and the impact of our actions on our future generations. This story is told through three women, each of whom is brilliant, deeply feeling, highly articulate, and yet are somehow incapable of communicating with each other.
Special note:
This was our first grant-funded production! This funding from the Region 2 Arts Council allowed us to grow our resources, as well as to pay our actors and crew members for their hard work. Being able to pay our artists is extremely important to us, and we're so grateful to have received the funding that allowed that to happen for this production.

KSP presented our first Ever production
- Two Rooms by Lee Blessing -
In October of 2024.
The show was performed at the Depot in
Park Rapids, MN.
The “two rooms” of the title are depicted as one on this simple stage. The first, a windowless cubicle in Beirut, where Michael, an American hostage, is being held by Arab terrorists. And the second, a room in his home in the United States, which his wife, Lainie, has stripped of furniture so that, at least symbolically, she can share in his nightmare.
A reporter, Walker, tries to prod Lainie into taking umbrage at what he labels “government ineptitude and inaction,” while a representative from the States Department, Ellen, attempts to treat the matter of Michael’s kidnapping with dispassionate efficiency and professional detachment. Lainie must make the impossible decision of whether to publicly expose the State Department for their effortless attempt to rescue her husband, at the risk of putting Michael’s life in further danger, or to remain silent while nothing is done to save him.
